Veterinary Technician

(Part-Time and Full-Time Positions)

Texas Equine Hospital is an equine only practice and job candidates are required to possess competent, well experienced horse handling skills to be considered for employment. Previous veterinary technician experience is not required. 

​

Qualifications Desired:

• High school graduate (18 years and older),

• Well experienced horse handling skills,

• Hard work ethic,

• Willingness to learn, and

• Ability to work at least 20+ hours per week

​

Responsibilities Include: 

Technicians are expected to perform, but not limited to, the following duties: 

• Assist doctors with routine appointments and surgeries,

• Medical treatments,

• Basic husbandry duties, and

• Available for emergency on-call duty one (1) night/week and two (2) weekends/month
